I was talking with Garry and he recommended i contact Alcorn Russel on this cal. for my North American Arms Single Action Gun i have. I would like to locate and purchase a few boxes of ammo or empty cases but they seem to be as rare as hens Teeth but there should be some around as they produce a lot of it back in the day.

He's been where you are now and has some good dope on it. He told me all about it but I sure forgot it. He's very knowledgeable on that caliber. If I can't buy it I make it, on all my stuff. I've learned a lot doing that.

A source for brass or information. I don’t see why you can’t just cut off .450 Bushmaster brass (might have to inside ream, maybe not?!). Also no reason .45 ACP dies won’t perfectly load ammo. It’s just a longer .45 Win. Mag. Loaded hot.

I also read factory cases were internally coated with a tar like substance to help the bullet pull issues in recoil. It’s been tried by many, much past hot .45 ACP levels in the Revolver with a rimless ctg. Will begin some bullet pull issues. You can only taper crimp or mess up headspace to get misfires. I think in large that’s what killed the .450. They did produce extra cylinders in .45 Colt and .45 Win. Mag.

they stopped building the guns for some odd reason they destroyed the brass.
