Reeder Custom Guns - in need of some 375 caliber bullets. It seems

my barrel likes the lighter weight bullets in the 220 grain weight. I tried the Hornady 220 grain flat point bullet yesterday and today and it puts them all in one hole. My problem is there were only 25 in the box. I have no idea what I used the rest for other than maybe a 375 GNR years ago. In my encore barrel the 220 grain bullet runs around 2450 fps, and a lightweight bullet that is accurate and fast should be just as good or better than a heavier bullet that is not quite as accurate. The bullet is Hornady #3705. If any of you have a box or half a box I will gladly pay you whatever you need for them.

I have a box of the Hornady DGE, Dangerous Game Expanding and another one coming from Michael Mendes and will hold them in reserve. But the 220 grain Hornady Flat point interlock is so accurate that my thoughts now are if I can get a few more bullets I will use that as my main bullet. Accuracy kills and a 220 grain soft point at 2450 fps should ruin a lion's day.

Why they dropped it I do not know.

I already had this will get me thru this hunt. THANKS JOHN!!!
This is just like Steve Hornady's African hunt that he is now on. Three weeks ago he was looking for 375 Ruger ammo and they didn't have any in his shop. He told his guys to load him some and they said they didn't have any 375 caliber bullets in stock at all. So he ended up doing what I am doing, begging for bullets. One of his employees had a partial box and Steve sent me 20 of them. Having friends like Steve Hornady and John Taffin is a true blessing.
