DIY New Hampshire black bear hunt?

Last year I did a DIY black bear hunt in the state of New Hampshire.

I saw signs but no bear.

I know it is crazy but I may do it again. I kind of like the NH White Mountain area and it is a quick getaway.

The downside would be the fact that it is around the Labor Day weekend so the place is inundated with general tourists.

The plan is to use a scent boil. I have this liquid lure that you put in a can and boil with a Sterno can. Some have been successful but not me.

So I'll do more research and then maybe make a decision at the end of the day.
