These are a couple that we have been working on for a good while evenings and weekends. The first one is one of our new series, the Classic Hunter. The gun is a 6 shot, 5" 45 Long Colt with new barrel and cylinder. It has the Positive Performance package, engraved, deluxe finish with gold bands, jeweled hammer and trigger, ivory Corian grips and the interchangeable blade front sight. The gun is very smooth and accurate. The Classic Hunter is normally $1795 on the customer's base gun, so with us furnishing the base gun it would normally run a bit north of $2600. It is specially priced at $1995.

The second gun is one that took us quite a bit of time on. It is a German Luger in 9mm. The owner asked us if we could bring it back to reasonable condition. The gun was really rough with no finish and lots of dings and deep scratches. The grips were broken and mis-matched. The numbers were not matching. Definitely not a collector's item.
Anyway, it took a good while to get this one back to decent condition. After a lot of hand work and then high polishing it we did our deluxe Black Chromex finish on it and I did the straw finish on the trigger and small parts. Nate built a set of ivory Corian grips for it. We then buffed it out and it is in really nice shape for being close to 100 years old or more. If you see any smears it has a light coating of oil on it right now.

I have a set of grips with a little bump on them like that. It really adds some consistency in the purchase and handling. Interesting.

they will be replaced as soon as we get a new batch of

ivory Corian. Those are cheap plastic grips. But all that we had in the color I wanted. If we don't get the ivory Corian in soon we will replace them with some burl walnut. But I wanted the light color to contrast with the dark finish and gold inlay.

I thought it was a new trick. lol

conversion on it but I put them on there for looks only. Once we get the ivory Corian in (hopefully by the weekend) we are going to put some real grips on there. If someone buys it between now and then we can still have the gun out to them by this time next week, good Lord willing.

Beautiful
