Ruger M77 Mk1

the Ruger M-77 MK-1 because of it's strength and reliability. We built 10 guns based on this rifle in calibers 275 Rigby, 9.3 X 62, 375 H&H, and several others. Colleen used the 275 Rigby on her last African hunt for several critters. We had no problems with these rifles and if we go ahead with another series of special rifles in the near future I plan on using the Ruger M-77 again.

Good rifle and good price. Shot my first deer with an International in .308. My buddy hunts with one in .308 and has taken many deer. Another friend has an All Weather in .30-06 which also has done well for him. No complaints about accuracy.

Shoots great. Took me a bit to find a bullet it likes but shoots great.

It was my first bolt rifle in 7mm mag. I am refurbishing it and putting some finer grade wood on it and while in there a nice Timney trigger. I learned to be an excellent shot with it. 12 lb trigger pull. It made me a better shot with all rifles. Wish it made me a better pistol shot especially at paper I seem to kill everything that was living but I can’t kill a 10 ring very consistently.
