JT! Is anyone making a cartridge conversion Walker? Like in .44 Special? Or .45 Colt?

And a quick search ...

with a long gun to reach out there one would have been very well armed back in 1850. They would make a very formidable war club I'd imagine too.

I personally prefer the slightly smaller Dragoon series that does not suffer from drop-itis of the load lever. They stll hold 50 grs. of powder to the Walker's 60 or so. The normal sidearms that came later nominally hold about 30 grs. of powder under a seated ball.

Is it possible to install a Dragoon barrel

On the Walker frame and cylinder? Would the wedge slots line up? Are the cylinder pins the same diameter? If not shorten the barrel and install the loading lever and latch on the Walker?
Have Gary make a 5 shot 480 cylinder, bore and rifle the Walker/Dragoon barrel to a 475 groove diameter?
Lots of possibilities

LOOK AT THE 3RD PICTURE. IT IS
