Been busy ….

We tore out our kitchen to the joists, replaced the floor/sub floor. Just today got the sink cabinet back into position. Then I went to N.W. AR for some high end training with my boss. I was getting a very high award at the conference. Morning of day one my wife called to inform me she fell feeding the goats and broke BOTH her wrists. A real trooper she told me to finish and the kids were taking care of business. Day two she had surgery with titanium plates in both wrists.

In the ER, her hair was a mess and of course she can’t fix it! Poor thing.

Boss had a sinus issue he’d caught from grandkids. As a precaution he took a COVID test before we were to spend 4 hrs. In a car together. It was negative. He just has a bad cold. Returning I drove a different car home to help a family member. We did stop to eat supper together. This morning he called to say he did a home test (BTW he ran to get both those shots when they first came out, can’t wait for a third) the test results were positive. A later Dr. office test was confirming positive also. Great. I’m fine but work isolated for 5 days before I can test, then another 7 after that IF I test negative. Workplace protocol. We believe I was one of the first to get COVID Feb. 2019, unidentified viral pneumonia. Plus for two years I’ve taken a regime of supplements to boost my immune system for another health issue. I think it truly is helping me.

But I get to help my wife do EVERYTHING, literally! Plus finish the kitchen. Roman can make hardware store runs and if I get lucky some diesel (I get to go bushhogging). Surely I can get caught up some to do some gun play! I’m going to work at it. God is good.
