Anyone know what the status is on G2

Pachmayr grips and forends? I really liked them but they stopped production or got scarce. I saw some advertised at silly prices. Do they still make them?

They are aluminum core which makes them heavy but I like the shorter trigger reach they afford. It changes the grip angle just a bit.

I also found an Encore grip (only) WILL work, buttstocks and folders too will fit the G2 frame. It leaves just a tiny space on each side of the Encore grip but the bolt holds it on fine. Adds some flexibility. The Encore "rifle" scope base will also fit the G2 barrels but being smaller diameter I use 5-minte epoxy, lightly, to help fill any airspace. It comes off pretty easy too. Positions the scope father forward so the bell is not hanging off the back so much. The ring spacing is farther apart then a "pistol" base. That may be a factor for some shorter body handgun scopes.
