Reeder Custom Guns - QUIZ TIME: WHAT IS IT?

Right off the bat, the “converted” ‘51 Navys somehow got disabled when a bad guy pulled the percussion caps and put drops of water in the cones (nipples), while Hipshot had his face covered in a barber shop. Then the bad guy challenges Hipshot, and Hipshot gets shot up, while his pistols go “snap, snap, snap”.
The drawings of the pistols (Hipshot’s) were not real good, i didn’t know they were octagon barrels, and somehow recall them being referred to being silver, or in the white. Remember them being 36 caliber too. The funny things you remember (possibly incorrectly) from reading the comics while eating breakfast before school.

Rick O’Shay? The gunfighters name was Hipshot Percussion and his cap and ball revolver was called a “Mason Dixon” revolver. Do you know if there ever was such a thing? EMF had a revolver called the “Mason Dixon” . But that was way before the internet, and before they changed ownership.
I always wanted one,,,, What would you think they were referring to, or was it just a name the writer (drawer?) came up with? Thanks, been wondering since the 1960s.
