Bullet performance

This is an odd piece of Bullet performance. Hard to tell by the pics, but the bullet us egg shaped, and somewhat flat sided, the nose is bent over, but the white Accubond tip is still intact. Full weight retention. Fired from a 378GNR, a 260 gn doing 2050FPS. At 40 yards, hit the Impala solid on the point of the shoulder. Instant drop. The bullet did NOT exit. WTF? That load should have gone thru 3 impala.
Apparently, there was a twig just in front of the impala, and it turned the yaw or the bullet dramatically, and it slapped the impala sideways. It shattered the scapula, driving it into the spine. The bullet still had forward twist, so even after the 90 degree impact, the bullet traveled thru 12” of meat, and ended up in the neck. Fortunately the critter dropped at the shot.
