I'm reading through JOY IN THE WILDERNESS
Kindle - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084MN71RP

Hard to believe how much time has past. It's good to piece together bits of the story I didn't know or had forgotten. Would love to see pics of the Pemba Children's Special. I've been wondering how things are going there and how much the international virus has affected the mission and people.

Gary may have photos of the Pemba Children's Classic

I had a couple of it but am not sure where they are. If I run across them I will post them.

The virus has not affected things as much as the war has. There have been several hundred Iris Mozambican Pastors and church members killed this past year.

Between 500,000 and 900,000 people have been displaced. Thousands beheaded including little children. Hundreds and hundreds of churches and villages burned.

Iris is feeding 30,000 meals a day right now to refugees.

No foreign missionaries have come into the area in a year and a half. Almost all the ministry in the interior is being done by Mozambican's. That is as it should be in my opinion.

I am still involved in ministry there ... just long distance these days. I can't go but I can send money to help those who are there.

We've been praying...

for the persecuted. Will include the situation there specifically now, have been out of touch with what's going on in that corner of the globe. God bless, dear friend.

Much appreciated. Thank you.
