1. - if you stop and pee in a monkey's front yard (or backyard) it apparently gives him the right to scream monkey curses at you.

2. - Never lean against an African tree without first looking to see what is running up and down it.

3. - Anything can go wrong! Do not add to the opportunities for it by using untested equipment.

4. - It is extremely easy to get your underwear on backwards when dressing while lying down in a small tent.

5. - Earplugs were one of Papa God's better inventions .. especially when sleeping in an African village.

6. - The older you get the more inches you need in your sleeping pad. My air pad is only 1" thick. It is about 6" too thin.

7. - If a Mozambican asks you for a ride he believes you understand that the ride includes him, his immediate family and any friends or relatives encountered on the trip. That also includes all their household items as well.

That about the tree rings true

for South America as well. About the fastest draw I've ever done was while making my way along a rain swollen river, fishing with a friend. I started to lean my hand up against a tree - and saw the "vine" up the side was moving. The old Rossi came out slick as a whistle, barely giving time for the other hand to get out of the way. Dead snake and elevated heartbeat were the results.

I THINK THE BIDEN PROTESTERS IN
