I’m blessed being able to own a few different firearms. It allows me to keep some around for casual use even if I forget to pack a favorite. This I keep in the old Ford farm truck. It’s a 20+ yr. old F150 LWB we call Snoopy (or the maggot wagon -hauling trash to town).
This old stainless Rossi .38 is a good fit and does require much fuss. I feel it’s about as good as the late S&W for sure. Shoots great and hits POA with 158 gr. Reg. Ammo. You might consider a fair price offered for a clean mid to later model, good shooters. They offered one that was a copy of a S&W 63 (Rossi 511) that is a real sleeper! I let that one get away.
