Some kind soul, perhaps Gary himself, contributing. God bless all kind Misfits who have donated HHC items that I end up with. A cigar box of BIG cast bullets just right for my Sharps. I’m enjoying the use of the old 310 tool greatly. I do not yet have the little “adapter die” piece and I’m wondering what exactly what it does. Perhaps some coarse sizing?

I am limited on my powders for the big gun at lower pressures and did not feel cheeky experimenting with an antique design and 512 gr. bullets. So I used Trail Boss. The Lee red dipper #108 throws 8.5 grs. consistently. Rated at some 700 fps (485 gr. Lead and 8.0 gr.) I figure my slightly heavier with gas check will add 100-150 fps. Pretty slow but the hooked metal buttstock does not instill much bravado. Later when I find some more powder I’ll up it to normal 1200 fps levels.
