revolver holster. It is our new Dangerous Game Holster as it holds a revolver secure but if you need it right now it comes out fast and clean and no extra snaps, catches or levers to mess with. When hunting dangerous game getting the gun into play immediately is important.
In my humble opinion it is one of the fastest shoulder holsters ever. And I thank John Taffin for the inspiration. The closest I have seen of one of these was one that gunfighter John Wesley Hardin carried under a coat. This holster is simple and perfect for the handgun hunter that carries a revolver. The holster is flat against your ribcage and there is a half moon spring , leather covered, that holds the gun in. To get the gun out you simply pull it forward and that's it. The cup at the bottom of the holster holds the muzzle in but when you pull the gun forward it comes right out of the cup. I have used shoulder holsters by just about every company there is but this one is quicker, safer and easier than any of them. In the pictures you see the gun held in the holster by the leather covered spring with the nose of the barrel sitting in a cup. There is a leather strap that goes over your shoulder and there is a small leather strap that goes over your other shoulder and attaches to your belt. That's it. There are no other straps, snaps or anything. A clean simple strong and secure shoulder holster. Right now I am selling them at an introductory price of $195. And for a hand made top grain cowhide holster that is a very good price. I have paid that much for a nylon holster in the past.
