I’ve only had (3) .35 336’s. Factory ammo was fine

It was some odd hand loading that manifested the extraction rim jumping. Have you examined the extractor on a 336? Stamped POS, circular spring that snaps on the end of the bolt. A wonder it works at all. The ejector is a glorified Bobby-pin. Again shocking that it has functioned all these years. It is just sort of stuck in the receiver, captive by the bolt. Remove the bolt and it simply falls out.

But some how they DO function.
