Depends on the LGS, some do some don't. I believe it's how much they have available. A few months ago, 250rds was the max for any caliber. Price then was a little more reasonable, about $19 per 50 9mm. Speaking of Turner's Outdoors Palmdale Ca, Los Angeles County

I've not found any 38sp or 357mag anywhere for over a year, cowboy loads only 45colt, and very little of any thing else. Popular hunting calibers non existence

No Jack First left to SD in 1994. Population for Lancaster about 160k, same for Palmdale. Area has been called PalmcCaster, by locals for quite some time now. I live, (born and raised) little town about 30 miles North, pop about 4k. One of those places if you blink you'll miss it

The closet town to us has a population of about 400. You have to blink to see it. But the gas station/general store/restaurant has some of the best chicken friend steaks every Wednesday!

A stand alone gas station, morning/lunch restaurant, and separate grocery store. Then there’s a lunch/early dinner pizza place. But I can ride a horse, tractor, SxS, into town for any of those services.

Fast food places, almost all of them, gas stations, motels, not much else. Denney's only real sit down for 30 miles. Crossroads major North-South, East-West, both hwy heavy trucks, and both rail lines. 1 of the largest wind turbine, solar power acreage in the state. Also the new rage, space travel

I called Gary a year or two ago and he didn't have any in. A very short while later he called me back and said he had them in and how many did I want. They were actually for my son so I told him I had to get a hold of him first and I'd call him right back. Never happened for a couple of reasons. And, of course, not too much later my son was whining again that he couldn't find any. To say I threw my hands in the air and said a few choice words is to understate the case (no one was around including my son). So now, compliments of your post I have (40) squirreled-away. And I'm not telling anyone. And I'll only admit to having (20) when the day comes when whining again fills the air... Thanks again! :o)
