A friend brought a rifle today that was pretty cool, I didn't know what it was and he didn't know either, it belonged to his dad so I looked at it and it turns out it's a model 8 Remington in .32 Remington, had a tang sight on it. I told him I would try and locate some ammo for it, may be kind of hard.

You can run .30 Rem or .35 Rem brass through

A .32 Rem FL die to make ammo. Bullet diameter is .321” I think same as the .32 Win. Special. The .32 Rem. Auto is basically a rimless version of the Winchester round. Think of it as an American 8mm.

There is ammo available in odd shops and on the net at high prices. He’ll have fun looking for that ammo in odd pawn shops and small town gun and bait shops. You see it every once in a while. Great motivation to get into both loading and casting.

.35 case nogo

Hey, if'n most internet info is correct, the 35 Rem case is a thing all unto itself, won't work for conversion to 30 Rem or 32 Rem.

that is right. It can be made from 30 Remington but

not 35 Rem. It can also be made from 30-30 but takes a lot of work.

I'm going to the big Tulsa gun show next month and I told him I would look around. I seen where Buffalo Arms has it but of course it's out of stock.
