Fall shoot and the other swell CSA (Confederate Sixgunners Assoc.) guys. Hats off to Jason Freeman and many others for organizing and all the physical work required. The events have been going since about 2000 but more regular since 2007. Just some swell guys getting together to shoot. I got to visit for ONE afternoon this year with my broke wrist wife and youngest son Benj. Great fellowship with the guys, their wives, and the next generation! I do get to dress up my wife in Gary Reeder Custom Guns garb and show off some unique custom guns.

Jim demonstrating to me how his home made load tool works. It is handy.

It was great seeing you again as well as meeting your wife and Benjamin. Sorry you weren’t able to stay both days. I really liked the Bisley and the Sharps.

Well I stole away, at least for a bit.

Waiting for my Boss to pick me up. Tulsa bound till Wed.

My wife went on and on how “they were good people”! She enjoyed herself and understands why I want to participate so strongly. Benjamin really had a good time too. God bless all and have a safe shoot the next couple days!

Extremely good people!

But then, gun people usually are good folks.

Glad your family had a good time.

Kathryn enjoyed visiting with your wife. After all these years it is like a big family reunion except everyone likes each other.

If it weren't for the Athens, TX shoot in 2004

I'd have a perfect non-attendance record. It just usually falls at the wrong time of year for us. In '04 my sons and I managed to get there as we were up in the US picking up parts to rebuild the van. I was sick as a dog on the way down, but we managed to get there and had a grand time. Now that AR is hosting regularly it's been fairly constant and Jason Freeman does a great job in pulling it together. It's always great to see the pics and share the experience vicariously.
