Reeder Custom Guns - I noticed Africa was on the list of hunts

on some folks lists. Now I am going to put my foot in my mouth here so don't take this as the gospel. BUT if I were to book a spring hunt next March or so in South Africa how many of you would be interested? Now this is just speculation and I don't know if my little health problem would negate this venture but SERIOUSLY how many of you would be interested. Don't post here unless you think you would be seriously interested.

of Madubula Safaris and he is going to work up some dates for late March or more likely April. He mentioned the eastern Cape for the hunt. The eastern Cape is a great place to hunt. Cool with winds off the ocean and some areas more like a jungle than the normal wide open areas we have hunted before.

There will be areas where shots will be long, as in 250 to 300 yards.

I don't know what animals will be huntable but if we end up on the eastern Cape,I will know and as soon as I find out for sure where the hunt will take place I will show some of the critters that will be available to hunt.

would be half the daily rates, which is normally $450 a day for 7 days which would be in the $3200 range plus a couple of Govmt fees, so you would pay half of that and the other half just before the hunt. That usually works out to around $2000 up front. These figures are just a rough idea of the up front cost based on my last 3 or 4 safaris, so give or take a bit. If you went to Africa and didn't shoot anything, that daily rate would be your main cost. That is why Africa is such a great place to hunt.
That Brown Bear hunt that Brian T. posted above was $45,000 plus tags etc and if you didn't even see a bear you still pay the $45,000. In Africa you only pay for what you kill. So for that $45,000 I could go to Africa 3 times and take a lot of animals. That is why Africa is such a great deal.

You will drive thru herds of animals, and it will seem Like a Jurassic park movie. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and strive to find you the best animals available. The accommodations are 5 star. Now, depending on the dates……

hunt in August of 1992 and by the numbers we have had about 460 people join us in Africa, and another bunch in Australia and New Zealand. If this wasn't a great hunt and experience I sure wouldn't have gone to Africa 16 times. The Australia and New Zealand hunts were good but nothing like Africa.

this hunt would be a 7 day hunt. The only cost up front

The quality, quantity, and experience is well worth it
