doesn't have anything to make or sell. All the guns, parts, unfinished guns etc were auctioned off to Roundhill Group. Someone else bought the plant in Ilion, while someone else bought the trademarks, names etc. So what does Remington have to keep 220 people busy? Plus even if they try to build guns from existing parts, the guns they made for the last 5 or 6 years were junk. In the press release the Remington CEO said they were moving everything including headquarters down to Georgia. This sounds like the union is forcing them to keep a skeleton staff in NY although I can't see any benefit to that other than to keep the union happy.
