cartridges a few years back. Not really sure why. It is an excellent cartridge and comes quite close to the 10mm. It uses 45 ACP brass which is a big advantage when 10mm brass is hard to find. The velocities are great for small game hunting. For instance the 135 grain is at almost 1500 fps. The 150 at almost 1400 fps and the 165 at a bit over 1300 fps. Those are great velocities for a cartridge in a 1911. So this is a really good small game handgun and very accurate too. Easy to reload for and it comes with a set of RCBS dies, 4 boxes of factory ammo and a couple hundred rounds of brass, some sized and primed and the rest once fired. With all these extras this is a really good buy for someone that likes to hunt small game with a 1911.
