Reeder Custom Guns - here is a question for you. For years Lyman made what they

called Turbo Polishing Cloth. It was great for taking the black off the front of stainless cylinders but we used it to give a light shine to our satin Black Chromex finish before we blued it. The cloth was not to be used on blued guns as it would ruin the bluing. Now Lyman has dropped it and I can't seem to find out if any other company picked it up. That is my question for you. Any idea if anyone is making what Lyman called their Turbo Polishing Cloth?

called "lead removal cloth" for removing residue from stainless guns. I haven't seen it recently at the farm store that carries their products, but I haven't needed any.

Very good stain remover for stainless, will degrade blueing. If you take it out and let it air dry it works faster. It's a very mild abrasive compound impregnated ( can I say that?) in a cloth. Can cut to size or use the whole sheet. I use it to take staining off of stainless cylinders and it makes it factory new. Takes a few minutes.....

I have used the birch wood Casey. Works great. I also cut into patches and takes lead out of the bore really well. Again for stainless not blue. And I think there is another brand out there. Lead wipe away cloth.
