More 7 GNR and cast bullets.
Well not near the group I shot a few days ago but any of them would take a chuck in the head.
I knew that because I shot one good (really good for me) 5 shot group, not to base a new load on that. So I have shot four more ten shot groups over the past few days. All conditions have been the same--weather in the mid 20's to 30*, winds light 2-4 mph from different directions on different days, high humidity, still sitting on the ground off cross sticks at 65 yards.
After firing 10 shots with no break in between shots, I see no indication that things don't want to all play together well. I am going to call this my chuck load for next year and just my general have fun, lets go shoot load.
This is an average of all the 10 shot groups I have shot over the past few days. The outside of the black ring is 1.5". This group really is a better indicator of my abilities.
On future shooting ventures I am going to have to pay more attention to setting my target up square and flat to me. I may see a bit of bullet wobble in those holes.
