The single shots end up 5-6" shorter since the receiver does not stick out like on a pump or auto. Very handy. My 12 weighs right at 5 lbs., mostly a big hole. The trigger guard was cast metal and it fell over and broke. The unlocking lever also slid along in a cut-out on the trigger guard. This is complicating my remedy a bit.
But for a walking gun it is very handy. Lots of firepower for rabid coyotes and meth monsters. It does have auto ejection too. I like the gun other than that cheesy frail trigger guard.
