Jim, when I read that I felt a lot of what you felt... What I'm sure you felt and still feel about Twyla.
You had good times with her. Here in the States and, later, in Africa. I had a lot of good times with my late wife, Sue... She passed onto her next existence almost 4 years ago. I, too, remember the good times.
You and I are both alone now but we have our memories.
I know Sue's spirit, when she died, came to me at the motel I was in while she was in the hospital in Seattle. At 5:30 AM I woke up in that room... I felt her presence and I think she was stopping by to tell me she was leaving but would be waiting for me when it was my time....
When I got to the hospital a couple hours later the doctor told me she had passed at 5:30 that morning.....
