Here most of our banks are running on limited hours and only have one or two drive up windows open with no lobby hours. Some banks are only open a couple of days a week.
No problems here. Standard hours everywhere.

evil people pushing for electronic currency as it is easier to control people (easier to freeze their accounts if they don't comply). I don't know if its true but it doesn't seem outside the realm of a reasonable explanation. So more buildings are closing, less places accepting cash, etc.

Where I work the powers to be are working on a policy which will allow the employee the flexibility to work remotely a significant amount of the work week. The problem is they are in customer service positions that require face to face interaction. Less employees on site = diminished customer service which is already poor. Gotta love that so called new normal.
