there were Mule Deer and Coues Whitetail in the hills all around there. By 1990 you had to go quite a ways down the mountain to find Mule Deer. Those little guys were quite aggressive and dominated the Mule Deer. I talked with Game and Fish people and they all said the Whitetail push the Mulies out. And it happened.
