Irv a good while back. Only problem is the gas checks. I can't get the .40 cal. special checks and the .411 checks are too loose on the shank. Some fall off.

I blew up my little oven I used to cook bullets so I need to go get another. I think I'll try powder coating to bump up the check shanks 0.002-0.003" and see if they suit me better. Also I only have a 0.401" sizer and would really like one a bit tighter. Little tough to find.

everything that has to do with guns or reloading

are hard to find.

I need another oven anyway so that might work.

It gets interesting with the .41 checks on the .40. They can go concave or convex. Mainly as long as they don't fall off it's usually fine.

They can be peeled off right now with a fingernail but I think with a little more diameter material added they will tighten. I Could powdercoat over them too, that would make them stay put.

Anyone ever try that, it goes against most convention?
