Reeder Custom Guns - anyone have dies for 505 Gibbs or 585 Nyati you

don't use anymore and would be willing to sell? We are going to build a couple of very special Ruger #1 rifles in these calibers and somewhere along the line I must have loaned my dies to someone as they are not to be found in my reloading room. We did a small series of guns years ago in these calibers and have had folks ask about them. We have a new rifle in 500 Jeffery for Al DiPrima that is just about finished.

one without a brake and a Decelerator pad and I strongly suggest a mercury reducer in the butt, and it still bloodies your nose with each shot and loosens several teeth on the side of your jaw against the stock. A 30-06 has 20 foot pounds of recoil, the 585 Nyati has more than 180 foot pounds of recoil and 10,300 foot pounds of energy. I have shot probably 15 or 20 rounds of this cartridge in the testing of the rifles we built over the course of a year or so. This is probably why I have 5 screws holding my right shoulder on.

160 grains of powder and a 750 grain bullet

I only use 220 gr. For .50 BMG /750!

Dare you to try and shoulder fire that with no brake Lol

we have built a dozen or so in the past and I will not build

500 Nitro I shot at the HHC was plenty for me!
