Gary,I am curious about any special preservation steps or cleaning you might have to do to preserve your big game mounts to keep them looking good over the years.

other preparation. Arizona is horrible on mounts. It is so dry here that the mounts crack around the eyes and mouth and down the back where the stitches are. We got Colleen's taxidermy in last week and I am pulling several of our earlier mounts off the wall and throwing them in the dumpster due to the splitting I mentioned above. I wish I knew more that could be done to them to keep them from cracking and splitting. The taxidermy I got from Grady at the HHC was horrible. They cracked within months and looked horrible to start with.

a head count top see which one of us needs to go on more hunts. John may have me beat. I have been to john's house and the critters he shows here are (I think) only in 2 rooms and John has mounts in every room. So he very well could have me beat.

Here are some of my mounts here at the shop and at home. And in my defense I have been on probably 5 or 6 Africa hunts plus Australia and New Zealand and a few HHCs and those critters are not on here as these pics are several years old. First the critters at home..and some of these may be duplicates when taking pics from two angles we get the same animal twice...
