We are expecting 18 to 25 inches of snow in the next 48 hours or so.

It's 81 here right now ...

snow forecast for Thursday. Our last 8-10" is just getting melted.

Sounds like I'm headed to the wrong part of the country...

flying into XNA tomorrow and am tired of an Andean winter where it never drops below 15* C... folks here talk about cold. I tell them, if there's no ice on the ground or water - it ain't cold. I know a lot of folks get tired of the snow and such, but green all year 'round gets old as well.

How long you gonna be up here?

I'm not sure how long Mom's going to be around. We need to see how we will continue to honor her as she goes through a really difficult time in her life. You remember how it was with your dad, we're dealing with something similar. 43 years just below the Equator took their toll on her health, but it's the mental health that's been declining since she moved back to the US. Anyway, I'll like be in SWMO for a few weeks as we sort out options. We still plan to head north (Sheri and I) in May and will be up for about three months visiting our family and supporters. This trip is to help deal with Mom and her situation.

OK. I will be remembering you to the Lord.

The weather forecast was wrong, I'm sitting in NE AR enjoying frozen precipitation and waiting for a better road condition to finish my trip north. Only sleet, but a welcome (to me) break from green.
