S&W is doing something strange...Making a 9mm

out of metal and it has a hammer too. A lot of the young shooters will be amazed at a S&W made of steel and another metal for the frame. It is their new CSX. A small 12 shot 9mm that actually feels good in the hand.

Lots of good features in this little 9mm like an ambi safety and ambi slide release. Plus it can be carried cocked and locked.

The slide is steel and the frame another metal but it has the feel of steel. It is small but not too small.

Nate and I have different size hands but it fit both of us.

The CSX has slide serrations front and rear which help a lot on a small pistol.
It has an unusual trigger safety that works even if you don't have your trigger finger completely in the trigger guard.

The little CSX also has a small beavertail that keeps the hammer from biting the web of the hand.

The CSX has 3 white dot sights that stand out perfectly. You don't have to search to find them.

The gun comes with a 10 shot mag and a 12 shot mag. The 12 shot is in the gun in the pictures and it doesn't stick out at all.

Another thing I really like is it isn't set up for a red dot. I really get tired of seeing every handgun with a big blob sitting on top of the slide that stands out like a penis on a stud mule. This little 9mm is handy, fairly lightweight and fits the hand quite well. Let's just say I like the S&W CSX. And nobody is paying me to say that.
