lots and lots of snow. Had about 2 feet last night

and it is still snowing hard. The weather folks are calling it a major winter storm. It was slow going getting in this morning. The major hiways, I-40 and I-17 have both been closed and the roads in town are rough going. Several of those roads are typical mountain roads, up and down and steep. As long as folks use their brains they won't have any problem. But the younger drivers in their new 4x4 trucks don't seem to realize that they will have to stop at some point and doing 50 on a sheet of ice with a foot or 2 of snow on top of it makes for a hard time stopping. Lots of vehicles off in the ditches this morning. Plus it has been snowing hard since 10PM last night and no stopping expected until tomorrow. Nate, and I got here almost on time this morning and Colleen made it in a bit later. But getting home might be exciting.
The parking lot here was plowed 2 hours ago and the snow banks in front of that car are probably 5 or 6 feet high.

The roads are really bad right now. About dark they will get worse. We will close it down in an hour or two. Nate and I are working on a couple of customer's guns and Colleen is catching up on the never ending paperwork.
The snow in front of Colleen's Nissan is about 2 feet deep.
