I've not read much of that platform

I have an AR I put together and really like the round. I like to think of it as a modernized .351 WSL. HOWEVER it is an odd one. I first thought it a rimless, sort of .357 Max., BUT they gave it an odd bore size .355"? They claim is is a .357" bore since that was minimal for the deer hunting in many states for the straight wall rounds. Was it a marketing fix?

For my AR I re-size my 180 and 200 gr. .358" bullets to .356" and call it good. I used .357 Max. data that I had used in Contenders for years. Since the .350 Legend has more case capacity than the .357 Maximum. I shot 200 gr. RNGC at 2200 fps from my 16" barrel. Later I saw my load was over 21 grains past the published MAXIMUM! What gives?!

Did they use a .355" 9mm bore on that platform, or was it a .358"? You really need to know. The 145 gr. Winchester jacketed bullets I pulled measured 0.354". But they shot fine. ???
