reamers are one piece, usually 6 to 8" long and the throater is part of the reamer. It does it all in one operation. When I order a reamer my reamer maker, Dave Manson, knows what the bore and throat size should be and they make the reamer to fit. When I draw up a new cartridge I give Dave the numbers that he needs and he does the rest,
