only problem I have with the Mini is only the Ranch rifle is set up for scope. Plus if one wants a couple of good Ruger made mags larger than a 5 rounder they are like the proverbial honest politician, almost non existent, whereas AR mags are everywhere and most are good ones, especially the Magpul mags. And when that infamous bump in the night happens I feel a lot better with a 30 round AR mag in my AR than a 5 round mag in my stainless Mini. Just the cowardly lion in me peaking out.
