There has to be a chuck out today, so I made a quick drive to one spot. As I pulled in I glassed 2 on the concrete pile.
This shoot was for two reasons. I really wanted to see how the new cast hollow point bullet out of the 7 GNR was going to work, and I try to take one early chuck to eat. We won't shoot any more now until the middle to the end of April.
Took this young boar at about 70 yards, the bullet did very well on him. After skinning him out the only thing worth keeping was the hind quarters.
