specific circumstances, but change a few variables and it goes to crap. I jokingly refer to the MP7 as a "less-lethal" firearm.
Some police department SWAT guys carry the H&K MP7 chambered in the 4.6 to use in confined spaces but I'd rather have a 9mm or 223 or almost anything else. I know of a situation where a bad guy got shot 5-6 times with a 4.6 and he stayed alive for another hour or so until he popped back out again shooting. Another incident so SWAT guys exchanged gunfire with a guy through drywall and the 4.6 was very ineffective whereas the bandit was using a 7.62 which had some devastating effects.
