nomenclature intended that, I could have easily said "sparker" lol. I'm not sure what a flint is, just a piece of stone that will flake off in a shower of sparks against steel?

I like to carry a little tube of "Chapstick" which when rubbed on small pieces of cloth or a cotton ball will sure easily ignite from sparks. Of course chapstick is good for other things too.
