the more recoil, correct? As an example: 240 gr. compared to
300 gr. in .44 magnum and 240 gr. compared to 300 gr. or larger for .454 Casull.

Same velocity the heavier one has more recoil. If the lighter bullet is screaming and the heavier one in loping along it may be different

I tend to like heavies in pistols,tames the snappy recoil and sharp report and lighter bullets as the rifle caliber goes up to "tame" the wallop to my shoulder
