I'm bi-petual as I like both dogs and cats. Heck anything that lets me sneak up on and pet without much biting and clawing, I kind of like. A nice fat lazy lap kitty is kind of nice.

I never had one so resistant to gunfire and in need of a warm humanoid, to rest his tired bones. Hey I'm all in.

*Reputed to be from a short shooting range video in the Ukraine area. I snapped the jpeg from the video, it's not photoshopped. Who really knows?! It's funny.

that would come running when she heard my other cousin pumping his air rifle. She had complete faith in him and his ability to drop birds from the trees, which she would appropriate for her own consumption.

Personally, I like cats. They taste like chicken. :-D

If we had a place out of town I'd definitely have one or two around the place, but don't care for housecats. The last time we had one for a couple days 'til we could put it up for adoption reminded me of how much I DON'T care for felines and their climbing tendencies on crowded shelves and such in my office space.

There were lots of scorpions and rattlesnakes on the ranch and the cats pretty well cleaned them up.

The bad thing was, when they saw someone come out of the house with a gun they would gather around meowing and carrying on, wanting you to shoot them a bird or a rabbit.

You could not walk out in the hills hunting without 10 or more following you.

My brother-in-law had a dairy farm...

My brother-in-law had a dairy farm. He had lots of cats because people would just drop off cats that they didn't want thinking that "Hey, the farmer will take care of them". My brother-in-law did have a soft heart and took care of the cats. They got all the milk they wanted at milking time, but that was about it. My brother-in-law also had a pigeon problem. I'd go by with my Winchester 9422 to shoot a few pigeons. One of the cats; a big gray one named Charlie, would come running when he saw me with the rifle. He would follow me around the barn yard waiting for me to shoot a pigeon, almost to the point of crawling up on my shoulder and saying "Fat one, third from the left.." When I would shoot one on the peak of the barn roof, it would roll down and finally drop to the ground... But they didn't make it to the ground as Charlie would grab them out of the air before the hit the ground. Charlie really did like his pigeon dinners, and I enjoyed his following me around the barn yard....
