Someone over at Heritage is putting CBD in the coffee pot, and it may be a good thing. If handgun hunting is to garner a resurgence this type of effort can give it a boost. The guns are better than the old "Buffalo Scouts" hardware stores used to stock. They used to sell for around $50, must have sold a zillion. I don't think they spit lead anymore. A good old reliable wheel-gun, great sights, scope or optic provisions, and a threaded barrel (?!). For $250 retail I may have to get one just to play with. I say fantastic! Using the .22 WMR cylinder it would have some real reach and a bonus to shoot any rimfire ammo.

If anyone gets one make sure to give us a report. What a great present for a young shooter, if it works half decent. I've built stuff like this myself to play with! I have a Buffalo Scout with a Remington 550 barrel piece on it that will outshoot most fancy guns. What a hoot!

What would it do to the market if they made a .357 and .44 version?! Hawes resurrected! I bet some boys would take them hunting.

and really loves it. It's not real ammo-picky. He has a Rock Island .22 Magnum 1911 and while it is a shooter, it is ammo sensitive. He shoots the sixgun more than the autoloader.

I KNOW it should not work but I'm sooooo intrigued by the prospect of play. I think they are testing my buttons. I'd really need some fake stags though.

Back years ago I had a FIE SA little gun with two cylinders. It was partially gold plated and looks identical to a Colt Commemorative they put out about that time, I mean it. Boy did it spit with the old yellow box Super-X .22 Mags! But somehow it shot great and taught me how to hold at longer range shooting at snakes, frogs, and turtle heads in the pond. The good old 1970's. The LOUDEST gun I've ever fired too.

I would think their quality will go up considerably. Taurus doesn't put out any junk.
