and have been building custom guns since 1979, but my experience with model 29s is totally different from the mad house selling and buying of guns these days. I bought Colleen a 4" model 29 for her first trip to Africa and she carried it on her hip every day. I don't remember her shooting anything with it but it was there.

Anyway if it were 5 years ago I would put that 4" model 29 at around $800 to about $900. Today's prices are way out of bounds with the 4" model 29 going for $1700 to $2000. I don't see the prices changing unless this country goes into a deep recession and we have riots and a breakdown of civil order. If the SHTF then that gun will be worth more than ever.
