I have been shooting Unique and occasionally 2400 in my 45 Colt guns for years. Usually a 260 cast SWC at about 950. It works well on hogs and deer. I don't worry about trajectory much as I limit my shots to about 40-50 yards with short barrels and iron sights. I bought two pounds of TCM a couple of weeks ago at 24.99 a pound. I had read an article in Handloader about using it in the 45 Colt. So far, I like it very much. It meters very well and burns clean. I am using a Matt's Bullets 280 gr SWC and getting 950-970 with it. So far, so good. Will probably use it as my deer hunting load this fall.
