Nate and I have been going thru the orders we have (almost 225 orders) to see which guns we have parts for that we can start on while we are waiting for any back ordered parts to get here, We found around 45 to 50 guns that we can work on that do not require special parts that are just not available.
OK, now for the bad news (actually the normal news). Right now I don't have any extra gripframes to build our Magnum XL into. One of my guys that left a while back to do his own thing was my main cylinder guy, so right now we are not taking any orders for custom cylinders until I can get another machinist in here to make sure and do them right. In fact I lost 3 of my 6 guys during all the Covid crap. They left to do their own thing or start their own businesses. I hope they do well and they become well known gunsmiths but they really put me in a bind. That is why we are a minimum 2 years behind on full packages.
So to get to the gist of this monologue right now I am not taking any orders for things other than those that Nate and one of my other guys and myself can build. Things like the 3 or 4 guns I posted on here in the last few days are what we are building right now. Once we can get a couple of new machinist hired we will, Good Lord willing, get back to the more exotic guns.
