"...was charged with three counts of possession of an assault weapon, three counts of criminal possession of a pistol criminal possession of ammunition."

Anyone who lives in a State that makes a rifle illegal by renaming it an "assault weapon" and that can charge you for having ammunition is stupid. Why shooters continue to live and support such States is crazy.

Yep! Wouldn't live there !!

to make a rifle full auto) would be illegal in Arizona or in any other free western state, which doesn't include the 3 states on our west coast. And like most of the Misfits on here I wouldn't live in a state that thrives on bullshit rules and regulations like the ones mentioned.

I am grateful I have lived in Tn and Miss.

Weird coincidence that we both have the same two cannons. We are the same age. Could you be my long lost twin brother?

Did you make your own green carriage? I’ve been meaning to get back to that project and build the carriage. Mine is just a big paperweight. Haven’t even fired it yet. I’m pretty sure the bore will take beer cans filled with cement.

There is one difference between our setups.
My balls are blue but I’m sure they were cast from the same mold.

LOL, I had such a time shipping those!

I did make my green truck long ago from rough cut cypress wood. I also used an antique house paint from the Victorian age. The color anyway. It's not fancy and with Cannon who cares! If it works it's good. There are some sticklers for 100% authenticity but they miss out on lots of fun don't they!

I'm been sporadic posting lately due to my promotion and a bought of bacterial pneumonia, that I thought might get me. But I can't slow down.

Bucky, you must live in one of the states that

consider an 80% gun illegal. In the free states in this country Ghost Guns are not illegal. Now I don't agree with Ghost Guns at all but the point is they are not illegal. It wouldn't break my heart if they were all made illegal but that is a touchy subject. Until the gun control law of 1968 guns were not required to have serial numbers, although most did. If the Govt decides to make non serial numbered guns illegal, what happens to that J.C. Higgins 22 caliber sold by Sears that has no serial number and thousands of other non serial numbered guns. Are they Ghost Guns?

Nope, in NC, I just wonder if they were making

And selling them. Are the ATF rules 1 "home made" gun per person?

I can not affirm or deny if I have any 80% home made firearms.

making your own gun...standard rule is 1 gun

per person and you cannot sell it or give it away. That is for a non serialed number gun AKA Ghost Gun. Idiots that are making them by the dozens and selling them at gun shows are the ones that are causing the ATF to come down hard on all gun owners.
