Reeder Custom Guns - Arizona spring bear

I was able to shoot a bear this morning. Not a monster but a decent Arizona desert bear. Gun was a Smith 29 classic hunter. I had my son with me and if he wasn't a die hard hunter before he is now. He hasn't stopped talking about it all day. [image] [image]

For some reason bear in that state intrigues me.

Congratulations on a great desert bear glad you got to take your son. I really miss hunting bear in az.. I shot a nice one on the San Carlos when I lived out there. AZ bear and coues deer are my favorite things to hunt, would love to get back out there

when they get their first turkey, they are hooked and when you shoot your first bear, you are hooked too. Congrats! That is a great bear for Arizona and taken with a 44 mag handgun too. And even better is having your son with you on the hunt.
