Biden now wants to ban 9mms because

The AR-15 sales have slumped down quite a bit. Concealed carry handguns are still fairly strong but the lines of folks waiting at the door for us to open are just not there. This mess in Texas and Biden's talk about banning AR-15s and banning all 9mm pistols and their ammo will scare some folks off even if Biden's reason for banning 9mms is totally off base.

With hunting season getting closer hunting rifles and shotguns will pick up, at least if things go as normal they will. We are in a really unusual time right now, and predicting what will happen in the next 6 months is extremely hard. If the Republicans hold together for another 6 months and give the liberals a strong set back in the election then things should look better for a while. But we have several very liberal Republicans that are hurting us right now and that we need to get out of office and replace them with strong conservatives. Unfortunately Mitch McConnell is a cowardly wimp and will not stand up to the liberals. We need him out of there and someone strong in his place, but that is down the road a bit. So things are sort of iffy right now. How we stand strong for the next 6 months will see how the Republican party survives.

We're currently "home" in SW Missouri. I'm finding a lot of ammo, limited calibers, mostly 9mm and 5.56/.223, some 40 SW, a bit f 45 ACP, 22 LR in various persuasions - if you can stomach the 10-20 cent/round price, 22 WMR (found some as low as $15/50), even saw a box of 32 SW (short, not long) - at $60/box! A lot of black plastic pistols, plenty of Heritage Rough Riders, a few Ruger Wranglers and misc MSR's and a scattering of scatterguns. This comes from looking over various retailers in the general area while searching for other items. No rush on guns or ammo to be observed so far. Prices are HIGH, to say the least. Sure makes me glad to be set up to load for most of what we shoot, but primer availability (or lack thereof) is a bit worrisome.
