Reeder Custom Guns - Flawed Logic?

I have a nice Taurus G2c that the whole family uses. Bought used, it only came with one 17 rnd. mag and the fancy color matched FDE filler sleeve. I'd like a couple extra factory 12 rnd. flush mags but they are over $30 each.

However I can BUY a whole gun, G3c for only $250! They come with (3) mags!!! Plus Taurus has a $25 rebate offering. Cripes!

My net searching finds all the Compact model mags are supposed to interchange with G2 or G3 series Compacts. In addition I read this one "dude" who declared that - "Sig P226 and (P228) P229 mags work in the G2c. (defacto G3C?)
Often they're cheaper and easier to find." I do not know if that is true or not but it is interesting. FWIW.

I cannot think of a rational reason not to buy a late issue G3c for back up and in the truck. Heck sell a Glock and buy two!!

life on a Glock or the Taurus G2C or G3 or the new Taurus I mentioned on my newest Gun Notes, the G3XL. None are pretty but they all work every time. We sold the G2C pistols as quick as we could get them in. I mentioned this a good while ago. I had a man come in that told me straight out that he hated guns, never wanted to own one but felt he needed one. I sold him the Taurus G2C. About a week later he came in with his wife and 2 teen age daughters and bought a G2C for each of them. He was so happy with the little gun he wanted one for each member of his family.
